Please note that the term "meter charge" represents two charges. The first charge is a service charge which represents fixed costs to the Authority, Bonds, Insurances, Long range financial costs. The second part of the " meter charge " is the Usage charge, this represents the cost for 1000/ gals. These charges are for the meter size in use for each customer. The combination of the Service charge and Usage charge equal the meter charge.
Usage Charge on All Customer Usage:
0 – 5,000 Gallons $1.50 Per 1,000 Gallons
Over 5,000 Gallons $7.69 Per 1,000 Gallons
