PADEP Lifts Boil Water Advisory
DMWA would like to inform our customers that on February 10, 2009 at 4:14 PM Cedar Grove Labs reported that the water sample that precipitated the “Boil Water Alert” showed that there were no coliform present and all other results were well-within parameters established by the DEP. DEP has instructed DMWA to lift the Boil Water Alert as of that date and time.
We would like to apologize for the inconvenience and to thank all of our customers for their understanding and co-operation during this emergency.
Please be advised that DMWA has purchased a Rapid Alert System that will be fully operational within the next few weeks. In order to facilitate the initiation of this system, we would like to ask our customers to email, call the office at 610-269-5362, or send us an updated, valid, phone or contact number. Be advised that it may be necessary to place an emergency call to your home at any time during the day or night. These calls will concern your health and safety and we know you will understand the necessity if it arises. Therefore, you may not want to list only a cell phone, if it may be turned off during these hours.
